The Botanical Gardens has Luminaria

Luminaria at the Botanical Gardens is a spectacular winter event in Phoenix, Arizona. This annual event was started in 1977 by Rodney McElroy, a gardener who knew the tradition of Luminarias in the Southwest. These ceremonies were originally created to honor plants, and to give back to the community. These ceremonies were held in Botanical Gardens to honour the community, the plants, and all those who have made the gardens a great place to visit. Since then, Luminarias has been a regular part of the Phoenix Botanical Gardens annual fall and winter events.

The Neon Museum displays old signs from different companies in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is situated on 2.62 acres and also includes the lobby shell from the historic La Concha Motel. This lobby shell was restored for display purposes. On October 27, 2012, it opened.

Elk Island National Park

Elk Island National Park makes a wonderful destination for anyone who loves animals and nature. It is home to the largest concentrations of hoofed mammals anywhere in Canada, including bisons, elk and mule-deer.
